Bin Laden Death Linked To Pokerstars Shutdown?
Conspiracy therorists link Bin Laden death to online poker clamp-down!
An poker website reports that rumours in the online gaming community claim that the death of terrorist leader Osama Bin Laden was is a direct result of the USA’s crack-down on online gambling.
Pokerstars’ US servers were seized by the FBI last month, and two of the company’s directors charged with a string of financial offences.
The company has offices in the Isle of Man.
Conspiracy therorists in the online poker community reckon the Al Qaeda leader was tracked down through his aide’s poker account, after US authorities had seized the servers of three poker websites.
Absolute Poker and FullTilt Poker were also shut down and linked to the offences on what’s been dubbed “black Friday”.
Claims make out the FBI would only release funds belonging the poker sites’ customers if the companies handed over details of transactions in Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Bin Laden, largely believed to be behind the 9/11 attacks, was killed by US Navy Seals at the weekend
