Gus Hansen begins April with six- and seven-figure swings
Gus Hansen has continued his streak through the high stakes cash games on Full Tilt Poker and has maintained his title as 2011’s biggest winner despite some big swings that have set him back so far $600,000 in April.
Within the first week of the month, Hansen was down over a million dollars which plummeted his 2011 earnings to a piddling little $3.1m. However, he played a lot of $1,500/$3,000 2-7 Triple Draw yesterday and was one of the biggest winners in the game, taking home $450,000.
Hansen is currently playing mixed games on Full Tilt as this is being typed so by the time you read it he could well be back to even for the month. Hell, the way he’s been running he could be up $5m for 2011 by the time we finish this paragraph. … no, he isn’t. Yet.
Conversely the biggest loser of the year thus far has been Tom “durrrr” Dwan, down over $2.2m since January.
