Fifteen New Members Join Team PokerStars
Team PokerStars has added fifteen players to their prestigious Team of Online Pros. The world’s biggest online poker site selected the members from over 4,500 applicants.
Shane ‘shaniac’ Schleger is one of the players who will be lining up alongside the likes of Dustin Schmidt and George Lind.
Schleger has amassed over $2 million in online tournaments, taking down the PokerStars $109 Rebuy last week for a $76,091 pay day. He has also won $1 million on the live tournament circuit.
Mer ‘PeachyMer’ Brit is another of the new breed of players who grind at high stakes tournaments on a regular basis. Brit’s biggest score came in the PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker three years ago.
Clayton ‘cnew27′ Newman has performed on the biggest stage, posting final table finishes at the World Series of Poker in 2009 and running deep in the WSOP Main Event on two occasions.
Andrew ‘foucalt82′ Brokos, who has several PokerStars titles on his resume, spoke of his honor at joining the elite team in his blog.
“I can honestly say that it is an honor to represent PokerStars. Not only do they offer the best games and best customer service of any site I have played on, but they are the most trustworthy and upstanding.”
Dale Philip, Tyler Frost, Javier Dominguez, Richard Veenman, Freddy Torres, Jorge Limon, Kwang Soo Lee, Mikhail Shalamov, Sigge Reichard, Kevin Thurman and Yu-Reng Peng complete the new look roster.
