Victor Chandler Poker Announces 55 Special Share Scheme League
“All Aboard” for The 55 Special Share Scheme League; a rolling five week tournament league where for just €10 you can PLAY in five, €200 Freerolls, WIN a share of up to €18,000 and QUALIFY for the Victor Chandler Hall of Fame.
HOW IT WORKS:
The “55 Special” Share Scheme League consists of two elements;
A weekly €200 freeroll running for five weeks.
A leaderboard running across the five weekly freerolls through which €9 of every €10 entry fee is returned to the players that are awarded leaderboard points.
Players that wish to participate in the “55 Special” Share Scheme League must first register for the “55 Special” Place Holder Tournament found under the “Specials” tab in the tournament lobby, by paying a €10 entry fee.
Each Place Holder registrant will then be eligible to register for the five, €200 “55 Special” Freerolls which will payout the €200 prize pool in accordance with our standard payout structure and which will also see leaderboard points awarded to the top “55” finishers in each freeroll.
Note: Place Holder registrants must register themselves for each league freeroll once the Place Holder has closed. Registration for each league freeroll will open 4 hours before the event is due to commence. Only players that are registered for the Place Holder at the time of closing will be able to register for the league freerolls.
When the fifth and final freeroll in the series has been played, the leaderboard will be finalised and all players that have been awarded leaderboard points will win a share of the entry fees paid by all participating players, where the leaderboard points awarded to an individual player as a percentage of the total leaderboard points awarded, will determine the “share” of the prize pool awarded to the player.
Example
Total number of Place Holder registrants: 2,000
Leaderboard Share Scheme Prize Pool: €18,000 (€9 in every €10)
Leaderboard Total Points: 1,000 (200 points/freeroll)
Player A Leaderboard Points (max points): 100 (10% of total leaderboard points)
Player A Prize: €1,800 (10% of total prize pool)
Player B Leaderboard Points (min points): 1 (0.1% of total leaderboard points)
Player B Prize: €18 (0.1% of total prize pool)
Place Holder & FREEROLLS:
Each 55 Special Freeroll will take place on a Tuesday at 21:00 CET. The Place Holder for each 55 Special League will appear in the lobby under the Specials tab the day following the culmination of the fifth league event in each series and will remain open for registration until 12:00 CET on the same Tuesday as the first league event in each series i.e. Wednesday to Tuesday.
The first 55 Special Place Holder will be open for registration on Wednesday, February 16th with the first 55 Special league event taking place at 21:00 CET on Tuesday, February 22nd.
Note: Place Holder registrants must register themselves for each league freeroll once the Place Holder has closed. Only players that are registered for the Place Holder at the time of closing will be able to register for the league freerolls.
Each Place Holder will be supported by daily (Wednesday to Monday) €1 satellites where one player will be registered into the Pace Holder for every €10 in the prize pool, with any excess below €10 being paid to the next placed finisher.
