Pokerstars Sunday Million – Russia keyzerrr Wins $255,806.90
This week, the Sunday Million found a solid group of 8,695 players in the mix, all looking for their share of the $1.5 million guarantee. And when the prize pool was tallied, it came to a much prettier $1,739,000 sum of cash, which was to be distributed to the top 1,260 players in the tournament and award more than $255K to the ultimate winner.
When the money kicked in after a few hours of play, there were only four PokerStars representatives remaining in the field. The first of them to depart the virtual tables was Team PokerStars Pro Marcello del Grosso, who left in 539th place. He was followed by Vanessa Selbst in 392nd place and Dag Palovic in 386th. Still fighting was Dusty “Leatherass9″ Schmidt for Team Online, and he ultimately exited the tournament in 111th place.
