Poker Player Kevin MacPhee ‘in the running for EPT title’
MacPhee has recorded some impressive results in EPT events this season.
Kevin MacPhee as put himself in the running to win the European Poker Tour’s (EPT’s) prestigious Player of the Year title by moving into the top ten on the leaderboard for the first time.
The American star, who won the EPT Berlin event earlier this season, has strung together a number of impressive performances.
He now has 2,854 points to his name, putting him in eighth place in the race to be champion of the continental tour.
Commenting on MacPhee, EPT awards manager Miguel Barradas says: “He’s already achieved a huge deal. He has had a huge impact on the tour – both for his performances on the felt and his affable nature off it.”
As well as his win in the German capital, the US poker player also won plaudits after bubbling in the EPT event in Prague.
The next stop on the tour is Copenhagen, where a series of poker tournaments will get underway on February 21st.
